What this is

OriginatorExam is study material for the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test, National Component with Uniform State Content: practice questions, flashcards, mock exams, and the public sources they are drawn from. It is a study aid, nothing more. We do not license anyone, nothing here is legal advice, and we cannot promise you a pass.

Nationwide Multistate Licensing System runs the exam and has no part in this site. OriginatorExam is independent and not affiliated with NMLS, the State Regulatory Registry, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors or Prometric.

What you get for the money

One payment of $79 USD plus tax opens the full question bank, the full flashcard decks, and mock exams with no limit on how many you sit. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Questions and cards written after you buy are included.

"Lifetime" means as long as the site is around. One payment covers one account, for one person. The free half stays free whether or not you pay, and nothing free today moves behind the price later.

You can ask for the money back within 7 days. How, and what happens to the account afterwards, is on the refund page.

What you are buying is practice material. It comes with the pass guarantee: a refund if you sit the mocks it names and your first attempt still goes against you. The conditions and how a claim is handled are on the refund page, and those terms are part of these. Beyond it, nothing sold here promises a result on your test.

What you may do with it

• Study from all of it, as often as you like, for as long as the site exists.
• Print or save pages for your own study.
• Quote a question or an explanation to a colleague, a tutor or a study group.
• Sit as many mock exams as you want. There is no limit and no cost per sitting.

What you may not

• Sharing your sign-in. An account is for one person, and a shared one gets closed.
• Copying the bank out of the site, by hand or by script, to republish, sell or hand around.
• Running anything automated against the site: scrapers, bulk downloaders, or a tool that answers questions for you.
• Reselling access, or putting the material into a course, a deck or an app of your own.

Ownership

The questions and the explanations belong to OriginatorExam. Use them to study. Do not scrape, copy or share them.

The law itself belongs to nobody. The United States Code, the Code of Federal Regulations and the federal agency handbooks and guides are public documents, reproduced here as published and linked to their official copies. We claim no rights over any of them.

The CSBS/AARMR Model State Law is not one of them. It is CSBS and AARMR's own work, so this site links to their copy of it and reproduces none of it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on an account signed in as you. You can close your account from the profile page at any time. If you think somebody else has your sign-in, write to [email protected]. What happens to your data when you close an account is on the privacy page.

What is not promised

Nobody selling study material can promise a pass, and we do not. What you get is practice against the published sources, scored honestly.

The site gives no professional or legal advice. A question about a disclosure, a loan file or a license is answered here as an exam question, not as advice about a real file.

Uptime is not promised either. The site runs on ordinary hosting and it will be down sometimes.

Accuracy

We try hard to keep this accurate and up to date, but we are a study site, not a law firm. Where the law and this site disagree, the law wins. If something looks wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will sort it out.

Payment

Payments go through Paddle, which is the merchant of record: it sells you the product, handles the tax, and sends the receipt. Your card number goes to them, not to us. Refunds are on the refund page.

Changes, and the law that applies

These terms can change. If a change takes something away from buyers, we say so on the site before it applies. The date at the foot of this page moves when the wording does.

Ontario law applies, and the courts of Ontario are where a dispute would be heard. You keep whatever consumer protections the law where you live gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those away.
